Yes, location is yverything. Which is why I'm not completely happy at the moment. But I have to stay for a while, and anyway I'm still researching where to move and I haven't made up my mind yet. Your quest has been inspiring, and I'm happy you are feeling so good about your current situation.
Absolutely. Although I love my house and the yard just keeps getting better with everything we do, the actual place it's in is just 'where we ended up'. It's not at all what my heart would have chosen if choice had not been removed by circumstance. Now we're just biding time until we can move to the West coast (Vancouver Island or one of the Gulf Islands). Some days it feels like that will never happen but we are determined to finally be where we want to be. Good for you for finding 'your' place while you're still young enough to have the majority of your life to enjoy it.
