More Sketchbook Project Drawings

I've been making steady progress in my sketchbook, usually completing one drawing every day.

The fourth drawing was a version of the begonia sketch I did a while back.

I only used color pencil (pink & green) for this one.

The first one especially is very visually satisfying. I don't know how you do it. When I try to do patterns they just annoy me, but yours are so vibrant and regular, it really is deeply pleasing. And the colors you choose! Gah! I like it so.

i find grids help for keeping things regular. i sort of eye-balled the repeat for the flowers.

sometimes as i'm choosing colors i'll think to myself, "this combo isn't unusual enough" and look for something that suits. Not sure if that helps though. haha.
