It's so weird to dip into LJ every now and again. I don't know the exact number, but I have so many posts here! It's kind of overwhelming. First I think, "oh, I haven't kept a journal in so long. Spring is in the air?
I saw the Grand Budapest Hotel the other day with my friend Liz. She lives in VA so Bethesda is a convenient place to meet up, and luckily the movie was still showing at the Bethesda Row Cinemas. Sketchbook Project Update 2
I've finished my sketchbook for the Sketchbook Project, and it's already on its way to NY. In fact, it's likely already been delivered. It feels really good to be finished with it. A lot of work went into the book, and I have a great sense of accomplishment. I can't wait until the show comes to DC ( Read more... ) -

Midnight passed with me none-the-wiser as I surfing the net (does anyone even say that any more?) and watching Avatar on HBO with my mom. How very un-festive of me. To wish for a fish
for a bowl or a dish
doesn't seem like much of a wish
to those who are wealthy with fish
but for people in need
it's not simply greed

More Sketchbook Project Drawings
I've been making steady progress in my sketchbook, usually completing one drawing every day.
The fourth drawing was a version of the begonia sketch I did a while back.
I only used color pencil (pink & green) for this one.
