This is actually cheap for this amp. Probably because it's in Germany.

The guy who made those amps, Ken Fisher, died this weekend. It will probably end up going for even more money now.

nobody should need an amp that expensive. i know since youre a collector its a different game, but jesus christ. ever notice how the best players in history could make peices of shit sound good? that aint no accident.

I'm not defending the price, I think it's insane as well. That being said, a bad amp sounds bad, regardless of who is playing it. The best players in history have all used good amps. Maybe not Dumbles or Trainwrecks, but a 1969 Superlead and a blackface Fender Twin are far from pieces of shit.
