So I've been looking forward to this meeting all week. We're inducting the new girl into GamFix today. Last night; sick. Sinus shit. Nasty headache, sore throat, sonofabitch!

We're still having this meeting. I don't even care. Screw you whatever deity is trying to screw this up for me.

Damn near 6am right now. Been up since 4. Jeni next to me on her compy, same deal. Been on icanhascheezburger.com for an hour or so. Trying so hard not to wake up the kid. I'm betting I'm up for the day. Sucks.

We knew it was coming this time. At the time we were hired, we were told it'd be for about two weeks, but it lasted four or five, so no real complaints. That and we've been promised that if work over there picks back up, we same people will be getting the call back ( Read more... )

The paczki. Not the dessert itself so much as the word and the fact that we pronounce it "poonch-key". Chicken or egg? So far, so good. Still working that new job with pickle jars. Knuckles are all cracked up and bloody from it. Things are clearing up, aside from a fight I had with one of my coworkers yesterday.
