This volunteer animal rescue organization is using a building that was abandoned for almost forty years. They cleaned it and conditioned it without any state help. The local government has recently acquired it and now want to throw out and kill about 150+ animals. This place is a de facto shelter, run by volunteers. I'm a Toronto resident...There is a cat who comes to our door.  We feed her many times a day.  We'd love to adopt her, but unfortunately we can't right now.. (We have a cat already, and live in a small house).  She's an older cat, but she's very, very sweet.  I think someone abandonned her, to be honest.  She does hundreds of rollovers... If you're a Tampa reader, we have a few organizations in our area- ACT, The Humane Society, and Fix&Feed. Fix & Feed is the one I try to donate time and resources to, as I have no money.
