im so sorry love, i really am. I cant even begin to image how hard this must be for you, but I know it must be alot. But I want you to know that Night wasnt just a rat, she was more than that, she was a good friend; not only to you but to everyone who loved her. She was a sweet little fat ball of fluff and love and we will never forget her.
But I want you to know that you shouldnt beat yourself up over not being there in the time of her passing...maybe thats what she wanted. Maybe she didnt want to see you sad, and its good to know that when she did pass at least she was with someone who loved her almost as much as you did.
Night was an amazing rat (and she's what inspired me to get one myself!) and she was the happiest rat that ive ever seen in my life! you were an amazing, kind, careing, and loving owner to her.

but at least now she can join up with dreamer and gus, and hey even nikko! they can all hang out up there <3

she was adorable, and you know i understand this feeling.
i know it may be tough, but maybe a new pet would do you soem good.
you can't hold on forever, but you can always love her, and i know you did.

but i understand, things take time.
especially these things.

I'm really sorry for your loss, Ani. I never got to meet Night, but the stories about her were wonderful to hear. She was such a cutie, though.
