Summers in DC are usually hot and humid, but today it was beautiful out.  High in the upper 70's, no humidity, light breeze, and a bright blue sky.

Well, my sisters wedding is over and now I'm officially unbusy.

My administration screwed me.  Again.

I'm seriously, seriously thinking of running a campaign using the "A Game of Thrones" system. I'll be doing a one shot at my friends con in Jan to see how it goes, but besides that I'd like to know of anyone is interested. And so, if you are, and you live in the area, please let me know.

There's one that lives in the cemetery next door, who quite often runs away from me as I'm walking home. He's a cute little thing, all round and fat, and seems quite active. I just need something to call him.

I looked really good today, if I do say so myself.
I very much liked the shirt that I wore and I thought it quite flattered me.
Since today was picture day, I hope my pictures turn out well this year. They didn't turn out well at all last year, and so, I hid them. Updated pictures would be nice though.

So, I'm sitting here listening to my favorite radio guy, Glenn Beck. I've always loved him, because he's been mostly, how should I say it, fluff. Last spring, he spent most Wednesday's and Thursday's on American Idol. He's been known to spend an entire broadcast on an ice cream eating contest. The fighting in Lebanon broke out while I was on vacation. I, like many others, was horrified at what was happening on both sides. But unlike many others, I know that the war they are fighting now did not start last month. It started over 70 years ago in the seeds of World War II. Friday was the last day of school, and I was feeling rather down about it. You see, the students I picked up two years ago as cute little 6th graders are now, most definately, 8th graders.
