i'm pretty sure i have a shin splint. in my left leg. it goes from my ankle about halfway up to my knee. i've never had one before, i mean my shins have been a bit sore at times, but never anything like this. it's just this dull, steady ache in my bone. and it's kind of sensitive to the touch as well. i have no idea how i could have done it. well, ( Read more... )

i just accepted my offer from pitt, and declined the others. excited/nervous etc.

so, decision time is nearing. sigh. this has not gotten any easier. i got into all four schools i applied to (not really a special feat for library science). i have received some form of financial assistance offer from three of them so far. none of these offers are especially awesome. it pretty much seems like pratt and drexel are out.

so, today is hair day! i'm excited. the plan is to get it colored slightly darker than my natural color, in an effort to stave off the summertime crazy color change that always happens. i'm sincerely hoping that i won't have to lose much of any length, just a slight trim to remove a few dead ends etc. and of course, my bangs are a hot mess right ( Read more... )

one thing that i'm not super happy with in my life right now is how lazy i've gotten about my appearance. i barely ever wash my face, it's still a daily struggle for me make fitness a priority, and i just feel like i look sloppy all the time, never polished or put together. i mean, i must still look somewhat ok, but i'm putting in less than zero ( Read more... )
