got an email from pitt yesterday about an assistantship. it sounds pretty good, although i haven't actually gotten a hold of the woman yet, but that's sort of beside the point. here are the points:

i just got a packet from Pratt - I got in!

they're offering me a $3,000 scholarship up front, and i'll get a financial aid offer soon.

i probably won't be able to afford it, but still - i got into a masters program!

this raised my confidence by 300%
