Mission 1: Your Dream, Our Nightmare

My first PPC mission ever. Yay! Follow agents Singsong Jacobs and Joyce Odelia Reesin through a really stupid badfic with a really annoying Sue. It's in two parts because, well...I like to write long things. Also, I think I've finally gotten the formatting fixed, but do let me know if I messed something up...

From the length I'm guessing you posted this in html rather than the rich text editor, which means it'll be bolded because you've missed a markup tag somewhere. You'll have a (with < and > instead of [ and ]) at the sentence beginning "The PPC belongs to...". Wherever you want the bold to stop, insert , again with < instead of [.

Well, the funny thing is, I DIDN'T post this in html. It was perfectly fine in the rich text editor, until I put in the LJ cut, and it made everything in the cut bold. This actually happened last time I did a cut, too... Anyways, I'm just going to go through the html and manually fix everything now, since that seems to be working, albeit slowly. ^_^

And thanks for the grammar correction. I tend to be a grammar Nazi most of the time, myself. How did I miss that? >.

Easy to miss errors in stuff you write yourself, I do it all the time. Your brain knows what you meant to say and reads that, instead of what's actually written. This is one reason I like writing with Trojie; she's a grammar Nazi too, and we pick up each other's mistakes as we go along.

For future reference, the html option rather than the rich text is better, if you don't mind going through manually marking up italics and such, because, if there's a character limit on html posts, I haven't found it yet. Maybe try to get into the habit of putting the markup directly into the document as you type, rather than using the bold or italic buttons?

Hmmm...adding tags as I write in a word document. You know, that's not a bad idea. Thanks!

I'll have to get a better handle on this html stuff. Thanks for the tips! ^_^

BTW I think you mean "root" rather than "route" in the first paragraph.

*removes grammar Nazi hat and goes to investigate part 2*

Well, yes, I finally decided, "Eh, what the heck, I might as well, since I love this group so much..." XD
