Ugh. That was painful.

I'm glad the MCAT is behind me...hopefully for good. I'd hate to have to sit through that again!

I am so very lucky that my parents have never forced me into anything. I study not only because I want to be a doctor, or want it to "look good on my CV," or some bullshit like that, but because I genuinely enjoy it. Science rocks my socks. I saved a life this morning at diabetes camp. My co-counselor Erik(who has diabetes) went into a sudden hypoglycemic seizure this morning at 5 AM. Had I not woken up, he could have died. I have never been so scared as I was the moment I first saw him ( Read more... )
