I opted for Breakfast of Champions over Slaughterhouse-Five. I really enjoyed that book, and finished it in a week (damn good for me).

Don't rent the movie, though. One of Bruce Willis' worst career choices, and not funny-bad, either.

Slaughterhouse-Five was very good. It was also very strange. Some parts were downright chilling. I really enjoyed Vonnegut's style.

It's only 200 pages long, so you should be able to blow through it in a couple of hours.

Breakfast of Champions had about the same description, including # of pages. I do want to read more Vonnegut...maybe Sirens of Titan (which reveals the meaning of life) or Cat's Cradle. I'm also interested in Slaughterhouse-Five because it mentions Kilgore Trout of Breakfast of Champions fame.

I see you, too, weren't as pleased with book 6. Still a very good book though.
