Valentine's day is in a week.  Woo frickin hoo.  I always dread Valentine's Day.  This will be the first year that I actually have a Valentine though, so maybe it won't be so bad.  I know that he hates it too though, so maybe I'll just become more bitter.  It just annoys me that so many girls get proposed to or get flowers or get all that stupid

I never do anything on Valentine's Day either. I hate being told when we should be romantic, it's silly. Paul got me roses the first year, but now he knows better. Big gifts or proposals or any of that just shows a serious lack of creativity. I want something more personal!

At least he cares enough to get you something! He is a good egg. But even with him I wonder if it's cause he thinks if he doesn't, he will be in trouble. Although as I was writing this post yesterday, I was thinking that maybe my dad and Paul actually enjoy getting things for people and appreciate the day where they can do so. I dunno. I haven't ever had a V-Day where I have been gifted, personal or not. I guess that's why I hate it haha
