My little Ann, letting go and moving on is a scary thing. Because its not just a small change like sandals instead of sneakers...its something big. Something that is so big, it scares us to no end. And the past does (unless you forget it) for the most part stay with you...but it is all in how you look at it. You can focus on the good and be happy. Or you can dwell on the past and dwell on regrets. The funny thing about those regrets is that there isn't anything you can do to change them. You can only let them haunt you...or let them lie. Remembering that they will always be there...so you can learn from them. And life is scary. I even get scared meeting new people. SOmetimes you just gatta make that step.
