It took Ennis about half a second to respond. He made a desperate noise deep in his throat and yanked Jack tight against him, swinging him around to pin him against the wall.

From there it was all uphill. My stomach hurts... I think I read the rest of that chapter with just that one lungful of air. OMG!!!!
