i am so insane
i slept through jay's class, again. that makes four times this semester. due to my crushing guilt i just spent AN HOUR AND A HALF composing painstakingly crafting an email apologizing/laying out my proposal for my final paper. and that's not including all the time i spent thinking about what to say and feeling guilty while showering, getting ( Read more... ) -
I take it back
I miss the cold! My heater is stuck on at the highest setting. Also, it is hissing and there is steam rising from it. Kinda scary, but on the bright side, I can get my clothes wrinkle free for the conference! Where it will be even hotter. -

i got eye makeup remover in my eyes and it stings lots and also my leg hurts from where i drunkenly hit it against the corner of a table. but still, compared to where i was a week ago at this time, i think i'm doing much better. i'm not at all sad right now, so that's something. -
i can breathe again!
no more impending deadlines. i actually have time to do laundry and clean my room and think about things. which is good, because there are things that need to be mulled over, and i haven't had time to do nearly as much mulling as i would like. everything has been happening so quickly lately. -
it's my gradual descent into a life i never meant
i really need to dispel the fancy little notion i have that i will open my eyes from one of my mini-naps/come back from the restroom to find a note that says "it's not wishful thinking" on top of my stuffs ( Read more... ) -

i can't remember the last time i left the library before midnight on a night when it doesn't close at midnight. i should really just go to bed, but i've been wanting to watch amelie for weeks, and i think i'm going to indulge myself, seeing as i'm feeling especially pathetic and sad right now ( Read more... ) -

feeling discouraged tonight. most of the time i manage to forget that my powers of interpersonal perception when it comes to the opposite sex are teh suck. right now is not most of the time.
