VS has been off my list for a long while, but mostly because they don't carry anything that could even stand a chance of holding these puppies up. (Frederick's, how I love thee...)
I never really noticed the Lost thing, but I recall what you're talking about. I have become so conditioned to seeing the "we are men, we know nothing about birth" situation played out that I'm used to it. And, frankly, I think alot of women perpetuate that. I'm not really sure how much of it is a myth, and how much is true. There is no man on the planet that can understand what it's like, but likely there is no woman on the planet that can understand it completely without doing it herself.
I hope that I am half the woman that you were during your little one's birth, when our time comes. Consider yourself an inspiration to one who is slightly terrified about the whole shebang.
