It's like a double-edged sword. I cannot wait to be done with exams, papers, presentations, design projects... but I am not in the least ready for what comes after.

I'm gonna be a real-life enginerd after graduation.

Holy crapola.

My poor epileptic dog. One of these times he's not going to make it.

Things I've seen today:

-couple snowshoeing
-kid on an atv
-guy snowmobiling to Blockbuster
-woman skiing to the grocery store
-parent pulling his kid on a blow-up tube roped to a truck

It's been a little surreal considering I was just hanging out by the Hollywood sign on Tuesday in a t-shirt.

It's a good thing I got in yesterday because today's there is 12+ inches of snow on the ground and they've just declared a state of emergency. The last time I was snowed in during a blizzard was 1997 (not counting Tahoe in 2004). We spent the good part of an hour digging a trench to get my mom's car back into the garage after a grocery store run. ( Read more... )

It still weirds me out that after a weekend snowboarding I will be returning to 70 degree weather tomorrow.
