ahhh, there is so much I love about this list!!! I adore Citizen Kane, although I get why not everyone loves it, but it is definitely ridiculous it did not get Best Director. Singin' in the Rain is an utter delight, and I am surprised every time I am reminded it wasn't nominated. AND PAUL NEWMAN IN THE HUSTLER, OH GOD. One of my favorite films of all time, and he is just absolutely brilliant in it. AND YES ABSOLUTELY TO PETER O'TOOLE, TOO!!! I mean, I love Gregory Peck (although I'm actually not a huge fan of To Kill a Mockingbird? Although to be fair, I only saw it once when I was like 15 after reading the book in school and felt like the book was vastly superior to the film, so ever since then I've been kind of negative about the film, but I should probably see it again because that was like 8 years ago), but Peter O'Toole's performance in Lawrence of Arabia is one of my favorite performances of all time. THAT THING YOU DO!!!!!!! That song never fails to put me in a good mood. AND YES TO EVERYTHING YOU SAID ABOUT CRASH VS
