I'm concerned about my heart, it doesn't feel right, like its really irregular. I may have to get off those weight loss pills. My logic tells me that it could be from a combination of those and my tranqs that make me so wierd ( Read more... )

Yikes... :( errm... weight loss pills are scary. What are they? Where did they come from?

If you really want to lose weight (and from your pictures, I don't see why?) I suggest switching to exercise and better eating (well, I don't know how you're eating these days). By definition, weight loss pills start fucking around with your metabolism, trying to speed it up, the tranqs would be trying to slow it down, both artificially, so it's no wonder your body is confused. Plus some diet-pills can be pretty harmful (sure you might lose some weight, but your liver might be in rough shape). Seriously though, excercise is the way to go. I started regular excercise six weeks ago, and even without susbstantially chanign my eating habits, I've lost 10 lbs. and feel better about myself than I have in years. I'm no pro, but if you want I could help you?

My diet sucks. In the sense that I KNOW I should eat everyday and I don't. I generally work out for at least a couple hours a day, 5 or six days a week, and remember, I don't drive, I walk everywhere, a lot of the time with a very VERY heavy backpack. Lack of excercize isn't the issue, in fact these pills are designed to work in conjunction with excersize.

Its called Hydroxycut, its by muscletech. Its a thermogenic support formula technically.

hmm... well, if it's from the health food store, it's probably not harmful. When you say a few hours of exercise a day, what do you mean? Do you jog or bike ride? Do you have any free-weights you can lift at home? Do you have any aerobic excercise stuff? Walking is good, carrying heavy stuff is good, but how long have you been taking the stuff? Have you seen any results yet? Not eating is actually bad for weight-loss. When you don't eat, your body stores what it *does* have as fat, trying to hold on to every last nutrient it can. Of course if you go long enough, even that will eventually burn off, but if you eat again the next day, it'll just take the nutrients from the food, not the fat it just stored.

you need food in order to exercise! your body needs to use the stored energy from the food in order to keep going.

i never ever run without eating nutritiously 2 or 3 hours before. if i don't, my run is absolutely crap. my legs are tired, my breathign is screwed up.

just think, when you eat, you burn it off anyway, and your metabolism remains very active for at least an hour after you run. eat and exercise and you'll lose weight. not eating and exercising=bad health, weak heart, dizziness, shakiness, general weakness.

i'm not kidding!

I know. I need to eat and sleep, or at least I should, somehow I still function.
I do drink protein shakes and gatorade. There are calories there. And I'm on a million vitamins as well as the tranqs and hydroxycut.

If you really want to lose weight in the healthiest way possible, here is my personal recommendation as an avid Health and Fitness person: forget protein shakes, vitamins and hydroxycut ( ... )

Also, in my experience, any ephedra based product or product containing ephedra will eventually do you more harm than good.

i hated high school but i miss it simply in that it's a venue for a very easy balance of social fun and entertainment and moderate, 'safe'ish rebellion as well as work and discipline - it gets complicated when you get out of high school, you can't have that environment again. i was bored out of my mind, bored to the point of wanting to drop out, but i loved my friends.

I TOTALLY dig that. But when reflecting things are way more pleasant. You know what I mean

I'm sorry to hear about your medical problem but have you seen a dietician about it or a GP? If not, you should.
At least you admit to the problem and are taking steps to resolve it. That takes fortitude.

Thanks for your concern.
Unfortunately my gp is incompetant. Fortuately I am personally studying human bio.

I can't afford a dietician but I DO discuss these things with the people at my gym if I think they would have anything valuable to say. I know that I have to handle this by eating easy to digest things, a little tiny bit, a couple times throughout the day and then increasing, in the meantime, vitamin pills etc. art definately not a bad thing for me to be injesting, as well as carb drinks like gartorade, powerade, whatever. it helps me out for the time being. Especially since I'm still working out.

I wonder if I've ever met you. have I W.H.?
