The Move (tm) continues apace. House closed. Glenn is already moved in, with about 1/3 of our stuff, thanks to his and Lothar’s efforts. Luckily, nearly everything in the foreclosed house works - which means we really only have a few repairs to make. Everything else is just updating.The immediate work was the tub diverter and getting new handles

Heh! You and Robin definitely have us beat! Our first truck was only 17 feet, this truck will be 26 or 28 feet, plus whatever will fit in the Blazer (likely pets and plant material, which don't move well in big moving vans). That's it, that's all. If it doesn't fit, it doesn't go.

Believe it or not, we've been in the process of discarding for two years leading up to this. We didn't anticipate moving - we just needed to make better use of the space we've got (now, the space we're moving to). We've been discarding a lot of stuff, and still aren't done. One more 10 or 12 cubic yard dumpster should do it.

I will be so relieved when this move is completed!
