About the userpic: I got a pot of paperwhites at the wonderful farm stand down the road, and I've been carrying them around with me -- office, home for the weekend, back to the office.  It's nice to have the smell of spring around.  :^)

Well, New Jersey's gone from ice and snow to spring in less than a week.  The crocuses all over the lawn survived and seem pretty happy.

I took my 6 1/2 year old son over to the playground "looking for fossils".  He enjoyed searching through the pieces of gravel, even though I doubt any of our "fossils" had any connection with long ago plants or ( Read more... )
