Ticks

Need advice. I live in wet Massachusetts. My kitten has had two ticks so far, one the freaking size of the top knuckle of my pinky. It was gross. I had one biting my forearm today! For dogs there are a number of solutions, we use Frontline on Samson. When a tick bites him, it immediately gets poisoned and dies. So it can't reproduce. It works for fleas, too. I am pretty sure there are a number of products that work the same way for cats. I hate ticks. They should go away once you get a good frost, but we use Frontline all winter long, too. Because if there is a thaw of a few days, those wicked bugs will be right back out.

Thanks. You know, I hate mosquitoes but they are food for spiders which are food for...There is nothing for ticks to justify their existence except to damage everyone around - be it plants, animals or humans. I'll get something tomorrow for him.
