I'm usually too chicken to read Alice/Frank, because of the inevitable. But your Alice had me with the first "Fuck!" Oh, she was awesome. And so was Frank.
*sobs* But I really liked it! It was great! *sobs*
I actually read this last night, but it's taken 22 hours before I could open the page again without crying. Oh shit, crying again anyway. The life and happiness in this was heart-breaking, and I desperately wanted to find that you'd changed the end. Even though I knew you hadn't.
Thanks! You're too nice. I think Neville and his parents is one of the saddest subplots in the books. I secretly hold out hope that they find some kind of cure in the last book. I don't know if that's J.K. Rowling's style, though.
I loved it. Great duels. The one at the start was brilliant, with Alice pregnant and waddling and still zapping the DE on the nose. Take that, you cad!
I liked the way you wrote Frank. Intelligent but so good natured he was almost dippy. Alice was a great counterpoint to him. But please tell me you don't have a mother in law like that! Her remarks were n a s t y.
Thank-you! I wanted to try to write some duels, I don't usually write a lot of action. It was a fun challenge. I love action!Moms so I wanted to do one with Alice pregnant.
That's exactly how I wanted Frank to come out. I'm pleased he worked. I did make Augusta a bit harsh, I'm afraid.

I didn't start out writing this intending to make Alice cuss so much, but she just came out that way.
P.S. I love your icon.

Lovely job with the end. It's so unfair what happened to them, but you did an amazing job with it. Kudos.
