A few things about the name of your journal:

- my mom's name is Anelise (I have aunts in British Columbia and California with that name as well). As a young immigrant boy in 1970s, it caused me no end of embarassment. Why couldn't her name be Betty, or Joan or some other standard Canadian name? Now however, that name is very close to my heart. It's so beautiful. Were I ever to have a daughter, I would name her Anelise without a second thought.

-Reckoning is one of my favourite albums, not least because it includes "that" song.

-OK, this one is not related to the name. I too recently hit 40. I'm still processing that.
