Why, hello dear. It's Pru isn't it? I would dearly love to attend a concert. Would it be Mozart or perhaps a comic opera ? I am in the mood for something light and frivolous.

*smiles*. Well, I certainly am in need of some light music. The heavenly choir is nice in small doses. After a while it becomes somewhat tedious.

You used to love my singing William. Do you remember taking me to the Theatre in the Strand to see HMS Pinafore? That was such a gay operetta, all those handsome sailors. . . And you were quite enamoured of the young lady who played Josephine if I remember correctly.

You, ah, you might want to watch bandying about the word "gay," however. It's rather taken on an entirely different meaning in the past few decades.
