This information is scattered among individual folders on my hard drive, and in a letter to Mr. D-- in Guatemala. Mr. D-- bought a building in Guatemala City where he plans to renovate and live. Hey, I wonder if all this has anything to do with why one town in Louisiana is named Morgan City? ;-)

And what a darlin' boy you are - I didn't know about that City. And the man after whom it is named had a fascinating personal life, written up in a tree in ancestry dot com. Not a probable, but certainly fun to investigate. Oddly enough, the name Henry R. appears, and somewhere else there is a Victor. Now if there were a Virgil or Leo to be found, goodness me, whatever would I do. There is a contact address, too, and we'll see what that brings.

Tons of folks immigrated or at least passed through New Orleans. It's a port city, and there is a rich diversity in population.

How neat--Pineville is 1.5 hour drive to where Mom is from. Rapides Parish is pronounced with a French accent (ra-PEEDS).
