This information is scattered among individual folders on my hard drive, and in a letter to Mr. D-- in Guatemala. Mr. D-- bought a building in Guatemala City where he plans to renovate and live. All I have left to do is put the dessert together - the casserole is done, the rice is done, both oven-ready;the salad can be tossed, and the table pretty well set. It would be nice to have a tea-wagon, but aside from the scarcity of decent-looking wagons, I have no place to store it. Here it is Sunday night, and within four days of the end of April. Today the trees we can see from the kitchen window showed a faint green on the branches. The temp was 26C yesterday till I got home, and as I got off the bus a terrible windstorm struck. shorty: well drat - that page just was a mess. The others worked ok - wonder why this one didn't. Sorry about the mess - I've tried a few times to fix it, it just gets worse!

Next time maybe I'll try a different approach. Bet you can hardly wait, bwaaaaaaaaaahahahahaha.

My grandson Elliott gave me a candle holder a few years ago - a stubby container you fill with water. It had those Chinese stones in it, but I removed those and put some of my own in, instead. I don't leave water in it as it just leaves an alkaline mark as it evaporates, but the stones still look nice. It lives on the bookcase behind the sofa

Rocks 'n' stuff

The other morning I decided my bowlful of rocks needed to be tidied up - meaning each one wiped off with a cloth that had boiled oil on it at one time. Such a lovely collection in the brass bowl - they are mostly from the Bay of Fundy - Halls' Harbour, Harbourville, and the majority from Scot's Bay at the very top of the Bay.
