All I have left to do is put the dessert together - the casserole is done, the rice is done, both oven-ready;the salad can be tossed, and the table pretty well set. It would be nice to have a tea-wagon, but aside from the scarcity of decent-looking wagons, I have no place to store it. The walking back and forth is good for me, we know that...but

And what a busy day you are doing to yourself! WOW! You've got to be exhausted!

I am really pooped now, four and a half hours of intense visiting just about kills me, never mind the traipsing back and forth carrying all the dishes! But that aspect didn't really tire me out, I just get awfully tired 'visiting'. Anyhow, it was nice, the food successful (except I put the wrong bottle of wine in the fridge - they are the same shape, and I really wanted white but picked up the wrong one and was in too much of a rush to look properly - stupid me, but it worked ok anyway), and the dessert disgustingly sticky and sweet!!!

Great photos, Annie, thanks for sharing! Such wonderful color you have over there! Here it´s all grey and dull at the moment...
I hear you about the noisy toddler upstairs. I´m currently looking for a new place to live, and one of the No Wiggling Room points is, it has to be on the top floor. I ´m working from home, and under no circumstances would take the risk that some happy hyperactive kiddo is taking residence above my head!

Oh my you are so right!! I think something can be done here, though, and we would not dream of moving now - too old, too expensive, and just too dang much trouble!! Good luck!!
