Victoria Day weekend here - cold as charity, too, and most of the day it was cloudy with occasional bits of rain. I hope it's clearer tomorrow because I would like to walk around the neighbourhood and photograph some of the lovely flowering trees and lilacs. If it's too windy, though, there's not much point - though I could set my camera on '

Nice photo! Do you know what kind of tree it is? I'm not sure if I've seen one like it before.

I think it's a flowering plum - flowering almonds are pink, I believe...dredging around in the memory bank here.
Thanks for the good wishes, too.....these things brought home from hospitals are usually something weird...hope that's my last visit for a looooooooooooooooooooong time.
