Not a sausage. Oh well. They aren't very interesting without text anyway!!

I'll just post the pic that's up on my desktop - it's one of my favourites from my Niagara Falls visit a couple of years ago. The building in the upper right is the old, original Sir Adam Beck generating station - I believe it is now a museum.

Oooh! I love that picture! It's been many, many years ago since I saw the falls and I'd forgotten how beautiful and how awesome they are. Thanks for the visual memory.

It had been at least 25 years since I'd been there, and the parkland from Niagara-on-the-Lake right down to Fort Erie, all along the River on the Canadian side, is marvellous - from parks for playing in, to Carolingian forest with pathways through it - and in our Niagara Falls, one section of town has been left as it used to be back in the days of really trashy places and terrible tourist stores!! There is a complete renovation of downtown planned, too. I just loved it. And for those who like casinos, there is a huge one, and lots of neat hotels, and bed&Breakfasts, too. C'mon up and enjoy!

I like the photo too, but...

What does the sausage comment mean?

It's a Scottish and probably English expression meaning not a doggone thing - comes from a dish that has sausages in it but I forget the name!

Kinda like that time Caren made a tuna casserole, but forgot to put the tuna in it?
