The best answer I can give you is.... I have recently thought the same thing. The conclusion I have come to is that religion is pointless. There is Baptist, methodist, ect. In my opinion they are all based on man's point of views and interpretations. I read my bible and trust that God will have me interpret the truth. By following a religion and saying I'm a Baptist or so forth makes you a follower of man and his beliefs. I have decided that I am simply a Christian, a follower of Christ. I attend a Baptist church for worship and fellowship with other christians, but I chose to have my own beliefs, and I deal with God personally in my own way. I really don't think being a certain religion will send you to hell. As long as you take Jesus as your savior and believe he was the son of God and raised from the dead you will live. John 3:16
