BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That was me through this whole fic. Ishida is one of my top three favorite male characters in Bleach, and this is exactly how I like him. A little bitchy to Ichigo, awesome with the sewing, smart enough to see Byakuya's sense of humor (he really does have one)... oh, it was great. <3

The thing I really wanted to comment on, was how well you two use the images and theme of reiatsu - from setting it up both as Ishida's annoyance, to it being the method of the break-in, to showing how Ishida can pick up subtleties in Byakuya's behaviour that Ichigo missed... it was done with such a light hand, and yet everything was so neatly stitched (oh the pun! kill me!) in to place.
Kudos for making me believe that an Byakuya/Ishida bromance is possible
But I have to ask - what the *hell* did Rukia have Ishida make for Ichigo out of *lace*???

I definitely went to the "something for Ichigo to wear" option. *Headsmacks* The wedding night lingerie makes a lot more sense. trust me to take the pervy route.

I'm not even convinced Mosh and I had the same thing in mind when we hashed that line out. So pervy route is excellent in my book.
Though I weigh it in my mind which would break Kurosaki's brain worse. Knowing Ishida made something kinky out of lace for him, or knowing Ishida made something kinky out of lace for Rukia to wear for him. *laughs* Either way it makes a pretty picture in my head of Ichigo freaking out on his wedding night. \o/
