My friend is still in the psych ward. She keeps telling me she wants to get out. Now that she is a ward of the State she has no rights as far as I know. They must think she wants to get out so bad, she will attempt it again and succeed. I feel bad for her. My mom is still treating my bro in law like a criminal. We are now living full time in our new place. We had a little scare last week. We did not want to bring our cats until we were sure we would be in Villa Park (new town) full time. I can't believe I am a homeowner!!! I have never slept so well. No more noise, no more train station. I can step out my side door and take my puppy out without 3 flights of stairs there and back. Closing was a breeze. We still have some work to do(floors). I can't wait till xmas. I feel happier than last year. I hope this feeling lasts.

Well, it is official. We are closing on our house Nov 13th. I can not believe we are actually going to have a house of our own. Wow so much has happened since my last entry. I have taken one day at a time after my mother in laws death. My sister in law has been so helpful through this new transition. I turned the dreaded 40, developed a crush on a 21 yr old that gives me too much attention. It is all innocent like high school. I finally had the talk with my mom. i was simple, I rang her doorbell and she didn't answer it. I rang again no answer, my aunt who lives downstairs had to knock on her door.
