Yea! Shipping early!! Yipee! On her cote, I've got 44 eyelets to do...11 done tonight, 11 night for the next three nights, and I can pick up his cote from Morrghan and fit them this weekend!! Yipee!! I may actually get to finish MY 12th Night dress!!
To my great disappointment, we didn't finish after all. We did get all of her buttons re-sewn (a rumply CF just wouldn't do), all of the bezants are on, hers is all assembled but needs the godet part of the side seams sewn & a couple too-close-to-the-seam bezants put on, and his is all assembled except the sleeves still need to go in. SO CLOSE!! But at 1 am, I had to stop. This way, I can do a few more little seam-tacking and top-stitching finishing touches which will make me feel better about mailing it off. It will definitely be in the mail tomorrow morning, and you should have it friday! They're wonderfully heavy with all that shiny metal. Can you send us your list of helpers? Thanks
