I tell you if we keep on going on the way we are there will be no more jhp, capslock, beatlesecret, etc, etc, all the really good communities. So much hurt and hate against each other.

Beatlesecret is destroying itself slowly because the people there don't realize that it's a community for submitting secrets, not rants. I think there should be better on modding on what does and doesn't get submitted depending on whether or not it's a secret. If this isn't cracked down on more, the drama will drive people away.

If it's not a secret, don't post it, mod, because the people making those secrets, imho, are only trying to start trouble and not to clear their conscience of anything or get out a secret they've never felt comfortable saying before. Those people are more than likely just trolls looking to start fights.

I think that if the communities stand any chance at surviving, people will need to calm the fuck down and realize that this is just the internet. I know it's serious business, but that doesn't mean you need to get your panties in a knot because someone on Beatlesecret said jhp is pointless or whatever.

People just need to cool it. I know fighting with your keyboard is probably ultimate fun for you but you're ruining it for the rest of us.

What the fuck is old_fogeyjhp????

I mean, all the ruckus started over the creation of that place and how it promised to return to the old ways of JHP... AND THERE IS NOTHING THERE BUT MEASLY DRABBLES. I mean, not one discussion, not one picture for comment and discussion, NOTHING. What did the mod feel so strongly was missing from JHP that she/he had to go and create a whole 'nother community? I don't get it.

And no, I haven't started discussions there because judging by the responses to drabbles and fics there, the little one-line "OMG THIS FIC IS AWESOME, MARRY ME" comments, discussions are better-handled and responded to at JHP, so I don't waste my time asking a question or posing a theory at old_fogey...

Just had to get that off my chest, how stupid I think it is to cause such a fuss about starting another community because JHP supposedly sucks and then going NOWHERE with it. Makes me laugh.
