Thank you! *hugs* I'm finding that's sort of my specialty with fics, which is an alright sort of pigeon-hole for now. Whatever, I have fun writing those sorts of things, so it's all good.

You move me to tears. I love love love the whole Igraine/Arthur/mother/son [not]relationship. If the next episode doesn't make me cry, I will be very disappointed.

Igraine as a character fascinates me completely. You can see so much of her presence in the show -- Uther's anger, the aggressive magic ban that resulted from the circumstances of her death, the strained relationship between Uther and Arthur. It's really rather remarkable, I think, that so much of the show stems from the one character who, to this point, has been totally absent.

Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun writing this, as sad of a piece as it is, so it's great to hear that someone else enjoyed it.

That was marvelous. I could really see Uther being that much in love. Loved that she kept dreaming of Arthur, almost like she was connected to him and could be with him even if she wasn't there. Very well done.

I could really see Uther being that much in love.

Oh, that's such a huge reassurance. I was a little unsure if his portrayal was in-character or not. I've always seen him as a rather demonstrative and emotive figure, and I think that any person whom he loved deeply enough to essentially attempt genocide for must have been someone he would have had no hesitations showing that love for. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who interprets Uther that way. Thank you!
