It's true that I have a delightful new friend named Rachel, whom I found lost and alone Friday night in a dark K-Mart parking lot. So I did what any other respectable southern lady would do: I took her home for sweet tea and white nectarines!

the thought of being brought home by you for sweet tea and white nectarines makes me wish that it was me that was alone in the dark KMart parking lot. lately i feel like i live my life alone in a dark KMart parking lot (maybe thats because all i do is build alone, i eat dinner alone in quaint italian restaurants, and i sit alone on dark park benches watching indie rockers play kickball). i came online just to look at your pictures. they are lovely, as usual. i want to see all of them! post more! i am so happy that i got to hear your voice today. i got to hear you on the price is right!

carlyn, i will have you know that as i was sitting here reading your comments and thinking about our conversation from last night i thought of just a few of the many reasons i love you:
1- after knowing you for months you still have stories up your sleeve that you can throw out nonchalantly like "oh yeah, i was on the price is right, didn't you know?"
2- you KNOW that sporty is not an option. fuck sportsy. anyone who can endure the combination of the smell of fresh cut grass, and people clapping and yelling hussle are obviously not on our team. OR his, for that matter.
3- you have the sweet ability to convince your boss that stealing food from work is ok. and with total logic!
4- you can make me smile when i am lonely.
5- MOST IMPORTANTLY: you can send bussis like no other!
