traveling towards canal street on the Q train this morning, i saw a man eating an ice cream bar. it was 9:08am. i decided he was my favorite person of the day, until he defiantly threw the popsicle stick on the subway floor.

at that point i again lost all faith in humanity.

i think i should just stop speaking. maybe life would be easier. there would be no need to explain anything, to apologize for things that aren't my fault. i'm sick of telling the same stories, of hearing the same questions. i'm sick of talking ( Read more... )
