Last night was awesome. We played not too bad but the response from the kids floored me. If any of you read this you rule. I hope shows in future continue to be like this one.

I am so so tired. Yesterday whilst skating around everyone decided to play basketball. Bunch of jocks. I went along too and it was fun for a bit, but so damn tiring. I am now feeling soreness in areas of my body that haven't been touched since my high school days of doing any and everything physical I could manage. It's still windy and that sucks. Ah so once again I return to Livejournal. This past week has been tiring. We played Mary Street on Wednesday night and I have to say that I am still unsure as to how I see this venue. There are undoubtedly benefits to having a venue in the centre of the city and I am thankful that people would consider coming out of a Wednesday night to see 'punk' ( Read more... )

Everyone has said this a thousand times over, but I really have to stop drinking. Last night cemented for me what the previous week's antics started to bring home. Ant + alcohol = jerk. It's been forever since I wrote in here. I've been at prac teaching and loving it a LOT. I can't wait to actually do what I am doing now and get paid for it. That'll be nice. Well today went nicely at school considering I almost had a nervous breakdown over the fact I had so much to prepare. Printer worked, lesson worked, teachers liked my teaching etc. I am dying for a skate but I have to hold off until the weekend since I have so much planning to do. Well this weekend was great. I am home from Sydney now reading through all the things I have to be assessed on during my prac teaching and I am not very happy about it. Far too much work. I went skating twice this weekend. Both times we got into confrontations. Saturday there was a bunch of us making ramps and stuff in the newly constructed area of a shopping centre carpark - out of the way of general traffic. Oh boy. Did really really stupid stuff last night. Nothing to do at 1:30am? Why not drive around with a huge branch attached to your car and wipe out taxi drivers??? Then spray paint the skatepark with dumb slogans about yourself and your friends that everyone will see every single day.
