...your radar becomes tuned to spotting potentially abandoned polystyrene boxes that you can nab for planting vegies in. This morning while I was getting my coffee, I noticed an empty box next to the bin so I asked the guys if they were keeping it or chucking it. Yep, you;re a gardening nut. And the best Re-User I think I've come across lately. You're so clever, and I keep getting ideas about plants when you post :D

I am big on re-using. Reusing is often better than recycling, especially for things like polystyrene, which is not recyclable via kerbside recycling and the few recycling stations there are only want to deal with it in industrial quantities.

I think I've maybe bought 4 new pots since starting the gardening (the big ones mainly). Rest are either from the "resource recovery centre" (aka the tip) or are yogurt pots, milk cartons, chinese containers, plastic bottles, broken buckets and other random things that hold dirt and you can poke a few holes in.
