Now this is why I like cataloguing: the book I am doing at the moment is called "Meesterlijk vee : nederlandse veeschilder 1600-1900". Yes,  a whole book on dutch cattle paintings, with the odd sheep or goat amongst them.

Well, I have had my job-interview. I was very nervous and it didn't help that they were running late and I had arrived early, so I sat in the lobby for about twenty minutes getting more and more nervous. Ah well, yesterday evening was not so great. Usually I check the university job pages every friday to see what has come up. However, sometimes I don't, and I just noticed that the job in my old library I was intending to apply for is being advertised and the closing date is this friday. I had a really  nice weekend. On Saturday I went to knitting and naughtly started another cardigan as my two other projects had gotten too unwieldy to be carried about. Yesterday was fun. I picked D up from the bus station after work, as she had been able to leave London a bit earlier than planned.
