I had a very interesting post thought up to use in my continuing campaign to prove that I am not dead, but I seem to have forgotten what it was. Amnesia is probably not helping my case ( Read more... )

Also, I no longer look like a mad scientist at all. This is a continuation of my reversal of the space-time continuum, through which method I have reverted from looking approximately twenty-five to looking approximately fourteen.

I have been puzzling over this for a while, and what I have finally come up with is: you had the Beard which you have told me about in the past, which makes you look like someone's father, and now it's gone? :D

Yes, and because I had a haircut. (I feel that I should point out that since this post I have had another, far more embryonic beard which didn't make me look like a tramp, which was nice, but still made me look fourteen when it was gone. This is why I wish to leave school: I want permanent full control over my face... :P)

School = totalitarian government, exercising full control over all aspects of one's life!

There is, apparently, technically a rule that states that male pupils are not allowed within six inches of female pupils. There is also a clause in the school regulations that pretty much explicitly allows teachers to give pupils detentions just for looking at them funny.

Rubbish! Why does my f-list always get to have fascinating, philosophical dreams, while I have ones about C.S. Lewis rising from the dead? This is not fair, I say! :D

I WANT A PINT-SIZED ROMAN LEGION. Provided it's, you know, an actual Roman legion and everything. I could feed them scraps of dinner I didn't want and keep them in a cardboard box!

...why is it that we Americans call aubergine eggplant? Aside from the fact that aubergine is an awesome word, how does a large purple tube-shaped thing with green bits and a stem resemble an egg, anyway? [/crazy rabbit trail]

Dreams about a zombie C.S. Lewis are pretty philosophical and awesome in my book. And pint-sized Roman legions are quite awesome; maybe woe could harvest them from the Lost Legion bimbling around sheepishly somewhere along the Thames...

(And I have no idea. You have more mutant chickens in the States, maybe?)

Mostly he just wandered around being amused at the antics of people making films out of his books (he seemed to be quite on board with the whole idea, though he found it somewhat hilarious) and there was really green green grass. He didn't even go around eating the brains of his detractors or anything. Dratted zombie professors. :p
