i can't tell you how many times i've gone to doctors for certain treatments, only for them to try to shove meds at me. no matter how much i'd try to tell them, "i'm not here to be prescribed anything, i'm here for [insert treatment here]," they ignored my opposition & just kept pushing at me, "try this first & then we'll see what we can do after that." of course they wanted me to try the meds first -- it takes absolutely none of their time, skill, or concentration. they simply scribble on a paper & get $100 (if not more) tossed their way. it's fucking criminal.

I was on Zoloft many years, as well as several other SSRIs. Now I've been on Celexa for like 7 years.
