My friends are always trying to pick me apart and make excuses for things that I do - things that make them uncomfortable because of how unfamiliar they are. "You do this because of your nationality," "because you're an only child," "because you were raised as a middle child," "because of that thing that happened in high school." I find that a lot with people - I think most just need a reason behind things, a WHY for events that will make them feel safe. It's quite hard for people to accept things and opinions without a reason, in my personal opinion.

I liked your entry - short and sweet and to the point. (:

I love this. One of my favorites so far.
It says a lot in a short ( thank you) space.

Oh, interesting. I love trying to ferret out the reasons how one person's background or experiences have turned them into the person they are today, and I love doing it with my own life, not just other people's. I don't think I'd ever do it to someone's face, though, unless the asked me to. That seems rude.

I wish people could be more openly accepting of the people we are. There doesn't always have to be a reason why we are the way we are. Sometimes, it's just the person we've turned out to be, and, IMO, that's all right.
