When she was a little girl and the top of her head was already level with the top of her mother's shoulders, she would twist the ring she wore on her left hand and she would pretend invisible animals would walk along with them on their route to school. Well done. I can't spend time with people just to have company anymore. I'd prefer to be alone than do that. But I do love good company on occasion.
