i've been seeing someone who is all about soviet cinema.. it's great and all, but i seriously just want to shoot myself in a head. luckily afterwards i end up getting laid.

From what little I remember of my Friday morning Soviet cinema class there only ever seemed to be 2 types of story:

The 1905 story, where everyone is oppressed and unhappy and then there is an uprising and it fails and everyone dies and it is very sad.

Or

The 1917 story, where everyone is oppressed and unhappy and then there is an uprising and it succeeds and everyone shits themselves with joy.

Oh but then there's that one about chess...

I'm just jealous that you get to have sex afterwards. I usually had to wait for 12 hours or so. At least.
