I wish my sketchbook was enchanted
so that every time I scribbled
or drew out how I felt,
I could erase them and magically
my feelings would disappear too.

11:55 a new day approaches
12:01 yet my heart feels old
01:03 in that it still beats
02:02 like it did yesterday
03:04 as with all the days before.
