It has been a while since I've updated,,so here goes. I do hope the new year is being kind to everyone thus far. We old folks are doing well. In Feb. we became guardians to 2 baby squirrels. They were approximately 3-weeks old,very little hair,eyes still closed-a boy and girl. We immediately named them Ray & Fay and started feeding them with an

I love squirrels! The ones at UT and the Capital are so friendly. They are spoiled, fat, and happy and will come right up to you and stare at you until you give them something to eat.
Being the daughter of a veterinarian, I have always love animals and the fact that I own 4 cats is testimony to that. They drive me crazy sometimes, always knocking stuff over in the middle of the night, but they are so affectionate it is worth the annoyance.

Yes,folks don't know what they're missing if they havent lived on a farm. Virginia used to raise rabbits,the New Zealand whites,for meat. We ate a lot of-em and sold a lot. Same with goats. But the breed stock becomes "part-of-the-family", as it were.
